Amanda Cramer and friends win the iShowcase at Nashville’s Hard Rock Cafe Sunday night. Playing in front of an audience of fans and representatives of several record labels, Amanda – along with Kip Allen – percussion, and Zach Johnson – guitar and background vocals, sang a soulful rendition of Billie Jean along with several of her original tunes.

To my friends at Kelly’s Kountry Showdown, the fans that came to see me perform as an opening act at the Arkansas Music Pavillion, and my family who has been so supportive as I made the move to Nashville and attend Belmont – I wouldn’t be where I am without you!

Amanda Cramer will be performing in the Singer/Songwriter’s Round at the Hotel Indigo- Downtown Nashville on October 18th at 8:30 p.m.. Also joining her will be two of her fellow artist and friends, Connor Greenland and Will Wade. Come out and hear some of Nashville’s newest talent. It promises to be a great night of entertainment! Earlier acts will start at 7:00. Come early and get a great seat!

The Taste of Country Music Festival features a local musician trying to make it big.
Friday night the Arkansas Music Pavilion at the Washington County Fairgrounds hosted the Taste of Country Music Festival. This event was the first in AMP history to have two stages. It was headlined by country music superstar Miranda Lambert.
Opening the event was a Fayetteville native. Amanda Cramer is hoping to make it big on the country music scene.
Amanda said, “Its very special, I mean, these artists aren’t just anybody, they’re big people, and they have a following, they have a huge success, so its an honor just to open for them.”
“I wanna be those people, I wanna be at that level, so to even be with the same people, same place that’s huge.”
As for the future, Amanda said she is leaving Northwest Arkansas on Saturday, “I’m actually moving tomorrow to Nashville for school at Belmont. Hopefully I’m going to network a ton, I’m going to make some friends, I am just going to put myself out there as much as I can, and hopefully get noticed and get signed.”
The AMP said the Country Music Festival could be the biggest show in its history, nearly 7,000 fans were expected.
The show also featured Randy Houser and the Pistol Annies.
